Christmas is almost here, and what better way to celebrate than looking at some of the best Christmas house displays that were on offer this year.
These winners, as determined as part of the 4KQ Christmas Lights competition, all showed how with some imagination and a whole lot of lights, anyone can create a truly magical Christmas display.
When it comes to the 4KQ Christmas Lights, it was the Gall family who took out the crown for best themed display. Located at 25 Lacewood Circuit, Warner in North Brisbane, it's hard to deny just how mesmerising and cohesive the Gall family's display is.
When it comes to a new entrant, the joint effort between Evan Jones and David Lee is hard to go past. Using lights to create an expansive light display leading all the way up to the house, it's an undeniably magical piece of work. Be sure to keep 45 Church Road, Bellbowrie (southwest of Brisbane) in mind for next year if you can't make it there this year.
Geoff Harvey managed to win the prize for best display in West Brisbane, as well as the prize for best synchronised Christmas light display - lights working in time with music. If you're interested in checking out, you may still be able to catch it. You'll need to head to 3 Furness Crescent, Sinnamon Park.
