A roof replacement is often performed when a roof has sustained notable damage or contains dangerous materials that have not yet been removed.

Now, before going all out with an entirely new roof, don't forget that options such as restorations and/or a new coat of paint can give your roof a fresh new look for a potentially cheaper price. Roof replacements are best for when your current roof has either substantial damage or could pose health risks such as those that asbestos can. That said, a roof replacement can be worth the money when renovating your home.
