The Best Suburbs to See Christmas Lights in Brisbane 2020

With Christmas just around the corner, houses across Brisbane are decking out their roofs and yards with festive displays. 

Many suburbs are going all out with light, tinsel and props to gear up for the silly season and see out 2020 on a much brighter note!

If you are on the hunt to see the best Christmas light displays in Brisbane, be sure to check out these suburbs...

Aspley

Brisbane’s North lights up the night with their extraordinary light displays and in Aspley, one house has gone the extra mile! Head on over to Stoneycroft Street and tune in your radio to listen to the Christmas playlist that has been synced up with the light display.

While you’re in the area, be sure to head over to nearby Longreef Court, Kosta Place and The Boulevard in Albany Creek, as well as Myrtle Crescent and Myall Place in Bridgeman Downs, where Christmas is truly in the air!

Around the CBD

If you’re in the city, Gold Lotto Christmas Lights Spectacular at City Hall is a must see. The front of the hall will be adorned with a Christmas themed spectacle, complete with Santa’s workshop and ice castles, every night until Christmas Eve.

While you're in the area, be sure to nip over to see the Government House Christmas Lights in Paddington to see what 10,000 Christmas lights spanning 1,800 metres look like. Running from the 11th to 15th of December, you’ll need to nab a free ticket this year so get in quick!

Redland Bay

Over on the East side of town, there are some spectacular Christmas displays to see. Be sure to add 13 Foote Street, 17 Fairway Drive and also Woodcrest Close to your route… or cruise down Huntly Place to see more than half a dozen houses having a Christmas-off!

Logan

Down in the south, the night will be ablaze with Christmas lights with the suburbs of Logan gearing up for Santa’s arrival. Stop in to see the displays of 23 Homestead Street in Marsden, 9 Ernestine Circuit in Eagleby and Lenore Crescent in Springwood to get your Christmas fix. 

Mt Ommaney

A local favourite for the Westsiders, 1 Moncrieff Court in Mount Ommaney is worth the trip with a particular colourful and decorative display... and be sure to stop by 28 Raeside Street and 2 Gillen Close on your way home.
